Chains

Chains are used to transmit power and movement. Chains are divided into two-dimensionally movable chains (hoists) and one-dimensionally movable chains (chain drives).

Lubrication

Lubricant supplied in the correct quantity and quality (in most cases oil) minimizes friction and wear and prevents corrosion.

Challenges

  • Environment: pollution, high humidity - corrosion, high temperatures
  • Technical: high load
  • Installation: little space, risk of collision

Benefits

  • Fresh lubricant is fed continuously
  • If the lubricant is continuously supplied in small quantities, much less lubricant is required.
  • No pollution of the environment (floor, guides, etc.).

Solution

  • The lubricant is applied to the chains using a brush.
  • The dispenser can be mounted directly on the brush, dispenser and brushes can also be connected by a hose.
